How to get to Prague?

Thanks to the location in the middle of Europe you can choose from various types of means of transport. There is an airport just on the edge of Prague with great amount of different airlines flying to the capital of the Czech Republic.

Another option is using the bus lines. Companies such as Eurolines, RegioJet (Student Agency), Flixbus and others drive around the whole Europe. They are quite comfortable and will drive you to Florenc bus station in the middle of Prague.

You can also use the train. Either the czech „České dráhy“ or other companies offering train transport will get you to the main train station situated in the city centre.

 
 

Transport from the airport to the accommodation (day)

If you prefer public transport, it will take approx. 55 minutes.

First, take the bus line 119 (direction Nádraží Veleslavín) and get off at the last stop Nádraží Veleslavín. The bus goes every 10 minutes during the day and every 15 ­ 20 minutes during the evening.

You will find the entrance to the metro nearby the bus stop. Take the green line ­ A (direction Depo Hostivař) and get off the metro at the station Muzeum.

Change the line to the red one ­ C (direction Letňany) and get off the metro at the station Střížkov. Watch the train signs, some trains go only to station Ládví.

When you get off the metro at the station Střížkov, you are here! The hotel is located just across the street.

Transport from the airport to the accommodation (night)

If you prefer public transport and you will arrive at night, it will take approx. 90 minutes.

First, take the night bus line 510 (direction Na Beránku) and get off at the station I. P. Pavlova. The bus goes every 30 minutes from 00:00 to 04:30.

Then take the night bus line 511 (direction Čakovice) and get off at the station Střížkov. The bus goes every 30 minutes from 00:00 to 04:30. From 04:30 it is also possible to take the metro red line ­ C (direction Letňany) and get off at the station Střížkov. Watch the train signs, some trains go only to the station Ládví.

When you get off the bus or metro at the station Střížkov, you are here! The hotel is located just across the street.

 
 

Transport from the bus station Florenc to the accommodation

Public transport will take you about 15 minutes.

The metro entrance is located behind the main hall – the one with Burger King.

Take the metro red line C (direction Letňany) and get off at the station Střížkov. Watch the train signs, some trains go only to station Ládví.

When you get off the metro at the station Střížkov, you are here! The hotel is located just across the street.

 
 

Transport from the Main train station (Hlavní nádraží) to the accommodation

The journey will take approx. 20 minutes.

The metro entrance is located in the main train station building.

Take the metro red line ­ C (direction Letňany) and get off at the station Střížkov. Watch the train signs, some trains go only to station Ládví.

When you get off the metro at the station Střížkov, you are here! The hotel is located just across the street.

 
 

Transport from/to the hotel from/to the Gala Ball

The Gala Ball is located in the heart of Prague city centre, at Na příkopě street, one of the most famous and busiest street in Prague. To and from the gala ball you will be transported by new luxury and comfortable first class cars (e.g. Mercedes­Benz E, Mercedes­Benz V or similar). The experience from the ride will be absolutely awesome and we guarantee that you will feel like a prince or a princess.

 
 

Transport from/to the hotel from/to parties in the city centre

There will be 2 parties in the city centre. On Monday 27th of March and on Tuesday 28th of March. Every party will be serviced by our shuttle buses. The shuttle bus goes approx. every 30 minutes in the following schedule:
21:00 ­– 01:00 Hotel ­> Club (city centre)

22:00 ­- 02:00: Club (city centre) ­> Hotel

After 02:00 you are asked to use night public transport or take the official taxi of ICM Prague TAXI PRAHA (+420 220 414 414) and tell them that your are from ELSA, they will give you a contractual price 23,90 Kč/km.

 
 

TAXI

Even though taxi prices differ, you should pay approx. 800 CZK (29 €) to get from the airport to the hotel. From bus or train station, the price is accordingly lower, approx. 400 CZK (15 €). The transport from the airport should take about 30 minutes, from bus or main train station about 10 minutes. We recommend to take only the official white taxi of ICM Prague (TAXI PRAHA). In the city centre we recommend also not to take taxi in a street but call the number +420 220 414 414 (TAXI PRAHA) which is the official taxi of ICM Prague. Tell them that you are from ELSA and they will give you a contractual price 23,90 Kč/km. Always demand the bill!

 
 

Public transport around the city

If you would like to visit the city centre or you missed the last shuttle from our party, use the public transport. The way from the hotel to the city centre is quite simply and short. Just take the metro red line ­C and get off at any of citycentre stations (Florenc, Hlavní nádraží, Muzeum, I. P. Pavlova). It will take approximately 15 ­ 20 minutes. At night we recommend to use the bus 511 which goes from/to I. P. Pavlova.

 
 

VISA INFO

Citizens who need visa:

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Turkey, Ukraine

The citizens of

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Moldova

need visas only if they don’t have a biometric passport.

The passport can’t be older than ten years and has to stay valid at least for another three months after leaving Czech republic.
